Pre-Care Instructions
Consultation: Have a thorough consultation with your practitioner to discuss your skin concerns and medical history.
Avoid Blood Thinners: For at least 48 hours prior to the procedure, avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil).
Skip Active Ingredients: Discontinue the use of retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and other strong exfoliants for 3-5 days before treatment.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to ensure your skin is well-hydrated.
Sun Protection: Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a week before the procedure. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.
Avoid Active Treatments: Refrain from chemical peels, laser treatments, or waxing for 2 weeks prior to your microneedling session.

Post-Care Instructions
Immediate Care: After the procedure, your skin may be red and feel similar to a mild sunburn. This is normal and should subside within a few hours.
Gentle Cleansing: Use a gentle cleanser for the first 48 hours. Avoid scrubs or exfoliants.
Hydration: Apply a hydrating serum or moisturizer recommended by your practitioner to keep the skin moist.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 for at least two weeks post-treatment.
No Makeup: Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation and infection.
Limit Activities: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot baths for 48 hours to minimize swelling and irritation.
Do Not Pick: Avoid picking or scratching at any scabs or flaking skin to prevent scarring.
Follow-Up: Schedule any follow-up appointments as recommended by your practitioner for optimal results.
